- The Eaton 5P G2 series consists of line interactive pure sinewave UPS systems, with power ratings from 650VA to 1550VA, featuring an LCD display (with 7 selectable languages) and energy consumption metering. They provide an excellent solution for protecting network equipment and IT infrastructure such as servers, switches, routers, and storage devices.
- These units incorporate IEC output sockets with 2 switched outlet groups (programmable IEC) to allow separation of non-critical loads, thereby extending UPS autonomy. Additionally, they include USB and RS-232 ports (one active at a time), a slot for optional communication cards, as well as Remote On/Off (ROO) and Remote Power Off (RPO) capabilities.
- They also support Eaton’s ABM® technology, which extends battery life, optimizes recharge time, and provides end-of-life battery warnings. The ABM+ mode utilizes a machine learning algorithm for precise battery condition assessment. Batteries are hot-swappable and can be replaced with the guidance of an interactive wizard available via the LCD display.
- When combined with the Eaton Network-M3 card, which includes cybersecurity features, network administrators can manage remotely and securely the UPS through a web browser.
- Eaton 5P G2 UPS units are available in tower or 1U rack form factors, and are backed by a 3-year warranty for electronic components (2 years for batteries).
- The Eaton 5P 1150I G2 model features 8 x IEC outlets, 1 x USB port, 1 x RS-232 port, a slot for communication/remote management cards, ROO and RPO capabilities, and low noise level (<30 dB)
